Donna Y. Dunlap

Donna has been with Big Brothers Big Sisters since February of 2016. She has a wealth of business experience from a highly successful 34-year career, serving in leadership roles with XEROX and Microsoft. She has served on several local, non-profit boards: The Fletcher School/The Rankin Institute, YWCA Central Carolinas, Girl Scouts Hornet’s Nest Council and the Levine Museum. Donna is a graduate of Leadership Charlotte.
Donna, the daughter of educators, has a family legacy with Big Brothers Big Sisters; her mother was a Big Sister and her father was actively engaged in the community assisting at-risk children. She serves as a Big Sister herself and has a passion for improving the lives of children in the Central Carolinas.
Douglas Hartjes, CFRE

Doug joined the staff of Big Brothers Big Sisters in February of 2012. Doug spent the first 13 years of his career with AAA Carolinas and GE Capital. Doug made the move to the non-profit sector with a decade of experience as the Chief Philanthropy Officer for Crisis Assistance Ministry and president of Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central and Western North Carolina.
Doug has served as a board member for the Gateway Village YMCA and Charlotte Sales and Marketing Executives. He is a past president of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Charlotte chapter. He currently serves on AFP International’s Chapter Support Subcommittee. Doug is a senior fellow of Class Eight of the American Leadership Forum.
