Sponsor an Event
Each year, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Carolinas holds four signature fundraising events and several smaller events to raise the funds necessary to support our programs and our mission. Each event offers your company an opportunity to increase the number of children being paired with mentors, while gaining exposure for your company’s charitable outreach.
Sponsor a Program
Big Brothers Big Sisters is continually developing innovative programs to increase our reach and impact in Central Carolinas. These programs need funding to succeed, so we are always looking for companies to invest in specific programs, like Bigs In Blue or Children of Families in Transition. We look forward to speaking with you about how your company can help.
Encourage Your Employees to Become Bigs
Our 1,500+ Bigs work in a variety of professions across the region, representing many different companies. Our Bigs are passionate about helping their Littles and they serve as some of our most articulate advocates. We always enjoy the opportunity to speak to employee groups about the benefits of mentoring, so please reach out to us if your company has these types of opportunities.
Beyond School Walls
Beyond School Walls is a unique one-to-one youth mentoring program for middle school students where local companies give back to the community by hosting children from a nearby school at their corporate office. Children are exposed to their career potential first-hand, by developing meaningful relationships with mentors in their place of work. If you work for a company who could host 12 or more students, with a minimum financial commitment of $1,000 per student/year, please contact Doug Hartjes, Vice President of Development, firstname.lastname@example.org, (704) 910-1301 ext. 1007.
